Meditation it a helpful tool that when I practice regularly it becomes life changing & eventually a superpower. There are many different forms of meditation and there is no real wrong or right way to practice, just what feels right for you.
Thank you for taking the time to pause in your day, to be present in this moment, and to meditate or learn to meditate with me. When you include meditation, breath and practice letting go, it can completely change your life.
If you are a person who has a hard time focusing because your head tends to be a busy place, than maybe adding visualization can assist you letting go during the meditation process.
You can visualize that you are in a car and God /HP/Universe is driving and you don't need to do anything but relax. For this moment, you just get to exist. Your busy thoughts are the other cars on the road, and you don't need to interact or worry about them since you are a passenger. At least, just for this moment. Being present in our bodies and being aware that I am so much more than my body, my mind , my thoughts, feelings & emotions.
If still you find it hard to relax, try this technique. Lay on your floor and pretend to float in the ocean. Can you remember what it feels like to trust the water to hold your weight and not let you drown, but left you feeling fully supported? Do you remember what it feels like to float there and think of nothing but how good the water feels, how warm safe and protected you are? Remember what that feels, and let all your thoughts float away. You won't lose them, they are still a part of your ocean, just flowing on a different current and undertow. Let them flow. Don't try to control the ocean of emotion that is you, just be, the sea.
